Making its official debut at the Automotive News Europe congress, the ERA showcar is the first in a series of new models to be created by the IDEA Institute since the opening of its three branches in Europe and Asia. Claimed to instill 'passion, emotion and sheer beauty', the ERA roadster was created for pure driving pleasure by IDEA's team of designers.

With a combination of smooth curves and taut, harmonious lines, the car is said to have been drawn through 'instinctive pencil strokes'. These have given the car an elegant yet powerful appearance. Its simple interior, composed of a visible tubular structure, expresses the car's pure essential nature, typical of sports cars.

The IDEA Institute is also planning to open of a new facility in Brazil to coincide with the company's 30th year of activity.
