The Jeep Trailhawk concept is planned to be introduced at the Detroit Auto Show. Jeep released this sketch of the front end of this truck to demonstrate how the Trailhawk will be a synthesis of their brand identity. The Trailhawk is in fact a luxurious Jeep Wrangler (it shares its underpinnings and utilitarian proportions) with a design language that relates more to the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Patriot and even the Jeep 1999 concept Commander. The bird of prey inspired name comes from the headlamps, cropped and peering out from beneath a diagonal brow. While the sketch is rather vague about this, the trailhawk is supposed to provide "a new approach to open-air freedom".
