Lincoln pulled the wraps off its new premium utility concept vehicle today (January 13). Called the MKT, the concept demonstrates the brand's new design language on a luxury utility vehicle but also blends premium with efficiency.
The interior of the vehicle is claimed to offer 'spacious elegance', and features environmentally friendly materials including a plush, hand-knotted rug made from banana silk and chromium-free leather seats. The premium look and feel of the interior is supplemented by a technologically advanced powerplant. The 3.5-liter V6 with EcoBoost technology - which enhance fuel economy by 20 percent through turbocharging and direct injection - is also claimed to produce the power and torque of a V8 engine.
