Chery concept cars
Chery is to unveil two new concept cars at the forthcoming Beijing Motor Show. The two show-cars, called Lei and Lui (Italian for She and He) have been designed and developed by Torino Design, the new Turinese automotive design and engineering company started by former Bertone boss Roberto Piatti.
Lei is a four metre long, front wheel drive two-door, five seater coupe while Lui is a 4.3 metre long, compact five-door SUV.
According to Roberto Piatti, founder and CEO of Torino Design, the two show cars have been designed for production as they are, and the company has already completed the feasibility studies for both proposals. Chery plans to measure public reaction at the show before deciding whether to go ahead with production.
