PSA-Fiat LCV vans

Fiat and PSA Peugeot Citroën have unveiled three new entry-level LCVs (light commercial vehicles). Marketed as the Fiat Fiorano, Peugeot Bipper and Citroen Nemo, the new vans are only 3.86m long and 1.78m wide but are claimed to be extremely roomy inside, with a load volume of 2.4 cubic meters.

Representing a new addition to the small panel van segment, the vehicles feature large side-hinged rear doors (that can be opened 180 degrees) and sliding side doors to enable easy access to the loading bay measuring 1.52m long and 1.18m high at its highest point. The width between the wheel arches is 1.05m.

The cab combines practical, functional features designed to ensure comfort and well-being. A stowable passenger seat and a modular mesh bulkhead system provide the vehicle with a wide range of passenger and load carrying configurations, increasing the load length to almost 2.5m and the load volume expanded to nearly 2.8 cubic meters when folded. The bulkhead section behind the folded passenger seat can be swung in provide complete protection from the load behind and alongside the driver.
