Fiat Bugster concept
These are the first images of a concept car Fiat Automóveis, the Brazilian arm of Fiat Group, will be unveiling in São Paolo next week. Known internally as the Bugster, the concept has been designed and developed in-house by Fiat Style Latin America at the subsidiary's Belo Horizonte facility, and will be one of the prime attractions at the at the 25th Salão Internacional do Automóvel.
Constructed using nanotechnology for light weight and enhanced durability, the Bugster's body
panels are
made of natural fiber. Exposed headlamps nestled beneath fenders, which appear as wings hovering over the wheelwells, are some of the more interesting design elements, as is the central spine extending from the hood and up over the passenger compartment. The car is also powered by a zero-emission electric powertrain, further boosting its ecological credentials.
