Honda Freed

Honda has released a new compact minivan, the Freed, in the Japanese market. Honda claims that this new mini passenger carrier - which comes in three different trim levels and five, seven and eight-seater configurations - combines an easy-to-use, spacious cabin with stylish design.

Developed under the concept of "Freedom to create the perfect lifestyle," the Freed features Honda's original low-floor and low-center-of-gravity technology, to achieve a compact body size that makes it easy to maneuver through the narrow city streets of Japan. While the Freed only measures in at 4215mm long, 1,695mm wide and 1,715mm tall, an exceptionally long 2,740mm wheelbase allows a spacious cabin that enables seven adults to sit in three rows.

A sharp, strong front face design and robust and distinctive body-side character line with a surface kick-up around the rear wheelarch make for aggressive and dynamic exterior styling, while a layered-design instrument panel and instrument cluster above the steering wheel enhance visibility and highlights its bright and spacious interior.
