We've just returned from the unveiling of the Mercedes-Benz CLC in Berlin, Germany, the launch of which coincided with the start of Berlin's second annual Fashion Week.

The new car, which seeks to emphasize the sport in 'sport coupé', targets a younger generation of style-conscious buyers and is more dynamic than its predecessor. Featuring 1100 new and improved components inside and out, the new car takes styling cues from vehicles developed for Formula 1, both in the redesigned front and rear ends.

CDN spoke with Project Manager and exterior designer Juergen Bollmann as well as Senior Manager of color & trim Martin Bremer about their influences for the new vehicle while at the launch.
