Think Ox concept

Norwegian environmentally-friendly vehicle maker Think revealed a new vehicle at last week's Geneva Motor Show, created in collaboration with global energy giant GE.

The platform concept Think Ox is said to be the electric vehicle of the future. As the first five-seat crossover electric car, the Ox has similar design to the smaller Think City, set to go on sale in selected European markets at the end of this year. Like the City, the Ox will be 95 percent recyclable and have a range of 180km on a single charge of its high-power lithium ion batteries. Its top speed will be 100km per hour. Future models may also include a range extender.

The concept car also features Think connectivity - a platform of interactive applications which connects to the Internet. The system can be used to monitor the battery and optimize drive- and energy use via a computer operated GPS unit, giving users information on the most environmentally efficient times to recharge.
